If you want to make your current tank last longer make sure to drain it out every year. It is like getting an oil change for your tank. Over time sediment gets trapped in the bottom of your tank. If it is left to build up too much it creates a pressure difference between the top and bottom of the tank. Which can cause the bottom of the tank to crack and leak everywhere. Make sure you turn off power and gas to the tank before draining it.
