Get Your Drain Cleaned Out Today!

It is highly recommended to have your main drain to your house cleaned once every 2 years as a preventative maintenance measure.  If left too long it can potentially cause a sewer back up through your basement floor drain.  Which can cause extensive damage. 

Having a backed up or clogged drain is not a fun experience at all.  Before you call a plumber you can try pouring a 2L of coke down the drain.  For small clogs this might clear it.  Don't use Draino, it can eat through or weaken your drain pipes.  

Have a bad odour coming from your kitchen sink?  Drain cleaning might not be the answer.  Try mixing a 1/2 cup of vinegar with a 1/2 cup of baking soda.  Pour it down the drain and wait overnight to see if it clears up the stinky drain.

Do not pour any bacon grease down the drain.  It solidifies in the drain causing the drain to clog.

Shower and tub drains are notorious for clogging up due to hair getting stuck in the drain.  Buy a hair catcher from home depot or online. It should cost less than $20 and just inserts into your tub or shower drain. 

Don't flush baby wipes or paper towel down the drain.
